What Aerith believed her history was, and what had actually happened were two different things entirely. For the past five years she believed she grew up within the Monacello family. Along with her friend Raven who were actually more like sisters then friends. They had always been together and supported each other. She served the family with her telepathic abilities seeking out corruption and the occasional psychic suggestion. In all truth she hated violating people’s minds like that but did it for the good of the family. What was she without them after all? They had given her everything.

In the last year though things began happening. Dreams, memories she shouldn’t have surfacing. In truth it was her psychic powers gradually breaking down the barriers and false memories her family had placed in her mind.

In truth she was only created five years ago, grown in a lab. The genetic material from a local drug dealer. One with an angel’s face who would not be suspected of treachery. Innocence seemed top emanate from her so she was the perfect sample. The basic genetic code though was altered. They didn’t just want a girl after all they wanted a weapon. She was given telepathic abilities to be of more use. There was another who had also been altered in the lab for similar reaosns that she recalled. Her one true friend Raven. Her memories were written and programmed into them like the pages of a book.

What they did not count on however was the strength of Aerith’s powers. That eventually they would see through the façade and the truth would be returned to her. She did the one thing she could, she escaped. Using her abilities to get past the guards she fled with one regret. Who she left behind. Though for the first time in her life Aerith had true purpose. For the past nine months she has worked towards that purpose. She would do all she could to work against and bring down the Monacello family and to save her friend from their lies.

She now calls herself ‘Solana’ it was far too risky to keep her old name, they would be looking for her. She has managed to avoid detection so far but knows her luck will not last forever. She considered going to the anti-mafia commission but from what she heard it would have been much the same and more then likely full of moles for both families. She was on her own, would not ally herself. To the effect of gathering both information and income she has opened a business as a Private Investigator. The most effective way to gather information and gain contacts.
